Pronounced [Zaw-tick YEE-oh or Ex-awt-ick YAY-oh]

Having been together since October 2015,
Xotic Yeyo is an original Funk-Dance project based
off the inner-coastal of South Florida.
Brought to planet Earth by the Intergalactic
Funk Machine, (IFM), MOTHERSHIP,
these extra-terrestrials from the Dawnta Funk Galaxy,
are on a mission to put everyone under “hip-nosis,”
until the gyrating-vibrations and screams for the Yee-Yoo bird
(a native bird to their world) bring the MOTHERSHIP
back to Earth, getting these Mothafunkas
back into Outter Space.
Get far out
with eccentric improvisers of funk,
and out of this world  minds of these lyrical aliens.

Bands that have influenced the XY sound include:
The Commodores, Prince, Earth Wind, and Fire,
Gil Scott Heron, Phish, Parliament Funk,
MMSW, Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, Jamiroquai,
Herbie Hancock, Average White Band, Superfly,
Curtis Mayfield, Primus, Oysterhead, MOE., Chic, [etc…]

Xotic Yeyo has taken over venues between South Florida and
Orlando including; Funky Buddah (Boca), Broward College (Davie), Vintage Tap (Delray Beach),
(Ft. Lauderdale), Churchill’s (Miami), and Woodstock (Orlando)– the list is growing.

Be apart of the experience, let their Mothership elevate you.
